4/9 Fought the Fight

Theme: Living for Jesus

2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”

Reflection:

Each day we face obstacles and struggle that challenge our faith. Similar to a race, our walk with God will not be easy as it requires discipline, effort, and focus. There will be moments when we feel tired or discouraged, but God calls us to keep going, trusting that He is with us every step of the way. Like a race, it becomes a little bit easier when we focus on the finish line of eternal life. Setting our eyes on the things of Heaven, lightens the load each day. It is just as important to celebrate and reflect on the progress we have made in our faith while continuing to pursue Christ. Following God is a blessing that should be recognized and admired!

Questions to Consider:

Has my life changed dramatically since deciding to follow Christ? Is it noticeable that God has transformed my heart?

Application:

Write down four aspects of your life that have dramatically changed since choosing to follow Christ. Reflect and be proud of how much progress you have made thus far. If your life has not changed, consider if you are prioritizing the right things.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We humbly come before You to thank You for Your guidance and wisdom as we fight life’s battles. As we continue to pursue our faith, remind us to rejoice in the small moments of closeness with You and in the quiet signs of a deepening faith. Lord, You have guided our way and will not leave us now. We lift our hearts and voices up to You, glorifying Your name and spreading Your word. All of this is in Your holy name, Amen.
