Theme: Trusting in God's Plan
2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we walk by faith, not by sight"
Reflection:
Staying rooted in our faith can be challenging when we are not intentionally looking for the ways God is moving in our lives. Since we cannot physically see God, we often overlook His presence in our daily lives. However, the Lord is constantly speaking to us through Scripture, signs, and people. When we recognize His daily role and communication in our lives, we begin to realize that faith is not about having all the answers, it is about believing and trusting in Him even when we do not fully understand His ways. This trust If we understood exactly how God worked in our lives, there would be no need for faith.
Questions to Consider:
What aspect of God am I trying too hard to understand rather than accepting His holiness? What does fully accepting Him look like in every day life?
Application:
Write down one piece of Scripture, sign, or person you encountered today that could be communication from God. Reflect on the reason for this communication and how it impacted your mood or perspective.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for responding to our prayers with Your word, signs that we may or may not expect, and interactions with others. Your presence is made known to us each day. We pray that we can stop asking so many questions, doubting the Truth of Scripture, and that we can begin to accept Your power through faith rather than sight. When life gets heavy, remind us that the fruit we bear as followers of Christ will guide our way of living. All of this is in Your holy name, Amen.
