Theme: Keeping Him at the Center
Daniel 4:3 "How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion endures from generation to generation."
Reflection:
Having hearts full of gratitude is a beautiful way to recognize how God works in our lives and in our hearts. He is mighty and powerful and deserves all of our praise. When we reflect on the good things that occur each day, we begin to notice the good more often than the negative things around us. Not only does this bring us closer to God by recognizing the perfection of His Creation, but it allows us to reflect Christ better by bringing a positive energy wherever we go. Those who reflect Christ well are trained to be positive and grateful in both seasons on joy and hardship.
Questions to Consider:
Where have you seen signs of God today? How can you express your gratitude for Him this week?
Application:
Each day with a friend or roommate, discuss three areas of your life where you noticed God's presence. Through prayer, express gratitude and thankfulness for His work each day.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your signs and wonders. You deserve all of the praise and glory. Lord, this week we want to focus on maintaining hearts of gratitude that do not waver with trials and tribulations. We are firm in our faith. Help us to reflect that in our actions. Lord, as we go about this week, we pray that we can continue to glorify You with our actions, words, and thoughts. You know our hearts, Lord. Guide us in revealing that goodness to others for Your glory. All of this is in Your holy name, Amen.
